From the time we were children we have been told to floss our teeth.
Flossing promotes health gums, fights tooth decay, and controls bad breath. It may be hard to believe, but the information we have been getting for years may not be correct.
In a recent study it was determined that flossing our teeth may not do any good at all. Really?
How is that possible?
It seems like common sense alone would tell us that removing decaying, rotting, disgusting, food from between our teeth surely cannot be bad.
I have to admit that flossing can be tedious and most people don’t like doing it. In fact, according to an NBC Poll, as many as 1/3 of people would rather wash a toilet than floss their teeth. Is that possible?
I’ve never thought it was that bad, but it is generally the one piece of criticism I receive when visiting the dentist. It seems I am guilty, as many, of not flossing enough at times.
Well to those that don’t floss, or just can’t stand doing it, this may be great news to you. Watch the whole story below and leave your comments about how you feel about this news.
I know I will keep flossing!
