Women Twice As Likely To Develop Alzheimer’s Disease

November is officially National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and in an effort to help spread awareness about Alzheimer’s we would like to bring to your attention that women make up nearly 2/3 of the Alzheimer’s cases.

Many people believe that Alzheimer’s is not something that they need to worry about until their 70’s or 80’s, but the truth is that Alzheimer’s Disease starts 20 to 30 years prior to symptoms developing in the brain.
